Candle Care Guide

Maximize the life and performance of your Xodoxio candles with these expert care tips.

First Burn

Always allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted (about 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Trim the Wick

Before each burn, trim your wick to approximately 1/4 inch. This prevents excessive smoke, ensures a clean burn, and extends the life of your candle.

Avoid Drafts

Keep your candle away from fans, open windows, air vents, or other drafty areas. Drafts can cause uneven burning, excessive soot, and reduce the candle's lifespan.

Burn Time

Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool completely before relighting to maintain the integrity of the container and the fragrance.

Store Properly

Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their color and scent. Cover them when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

Reuse Containers

Once your candle is finished, clean out the container by placing it in the freezer overnight, then popping out the remaining wax. Use the container for storage, plants, or return to us for recycling.
